"You Created a Monster"

A couple of weeks ago at dismissal, a mom of a 6-year-old girl said to me laughing, "Ms. Jackie, you created a monster!" I looked confused, and she continued, "my daughter throws a temper tantrum if I come and pick her up too early. I have to come at get her right at 6:30pm."
